Martha, age 49, is happily married to a humble day laborer. With him, she has three children who are attending a school in the rural sector where they live together. Martha and her husband are people of the countryside. Therefore, they learned agricultural work when they were very young. Since they married, a little more than 20 years ago, they have been doing this work as their only means of earning a living to provide for their household.

Martha has a crop of cacao that requires maintenance. There for she seeks a loan to buy organic agricultural supplies to mulch her cacao trees and thus to continue having good production. She dreams of eventually having a larger plot of land where she can plant all types of tropical fruits and thus provide a good life for her family.
