Amelia from Timor-Leste

$1000 to buy additional supplies like different colours of yarn and/or warp threads.

Amelia is modest, hardworking, and married.

Amelia has amazing skill and experience with East Timor traditional woven cloths called Tais, and she makes a living from it. Her weaving shop, which she has been running for many years now, is well located and easy to find, so many people come to buy her weaving every day.

Running the business has made Amelia independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday needs.

She would like a loan of $1,000 through KIF to help improve her weaving shop. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supplies like different colours of yarn and/or warp threads.

Amelia hopes to expand the size of her business in the future, and she wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
