Fareeha from Pakistan

$1925 to purchase solar cells and furniture, and to repair a school building.

Fareeha is a 42-year-old woman who has been running a low-cost private school for 8 years. There are 277 students enrolled in the school and 53% of them are female students.

The primary goal of the school is to provide affordable education of the highest quality to under-privileged students. The children are prepared to meet challenges which lie ahead.

The area in which the school is located is sun-kissed these days, and Fareeha plans to utilize this natural resource by installing solar panels which would help the children to study without disturbance during the load-shedding. She has requested a loan of PKR 200,000 for purchasing solar cells and furniture; it will also be used to repair the school building.
