Congratulations, you just upgraded to Video DownloadHelper 4.9.10b2 for Firefox
You are using a development version of Video DownloadHelper.
Mozilla, the editor of Firefox, made the decision to not support the add-on beta channel anymore on the addons.mozilla.org Web site. This is one more unfortunate step to destroying parts of the add-ons ecosystem, along with regularly reducing extensions capabilities, and we have to deal with this.
Fortunately, this does not mean that beta versions of Video DownloadHelper, that are vital to ensure the overall quality of the extension, will disappear, but from now on, they will be distributed from the downloadhelper.net Web site. However, Mozilla does not provide a way to automatically switch existing beta users to developer-hosted beta versions.
What does it mean to you ?
If you want to continue being a beta user, and we encourage you to do so, getting new features and fixes in advance, you need to follow this link and install just once the beta version offered there. You will then be updated automatically with new versions as it used to be.
If you don't do anything special, you will soon be automatically updated by Firefox to the latest public release.
If you want to discuss issues, please go to the Video DownloadHelper development forum.
