$2175 her daughter to pay for this year's university fee at the capital city so she will be able to continue her studies.
Anila is a 44-year-old lady from Pogradec city. Anila is a widowed mother of two adult children, a married son, who lives abroad, and a daughter, who lives and studies at Tirana, the capital city. "I have tried to keep my children very close to me so they would not feel the absence of their father! This is the first year my daughter left the house and we feel very much each other's absence," said Anila with beaming eyes during the interview.
Anila's daughter is studying law in Tirana. She is working part time but the income is barely enough to pay the rent and some personal expenses. Anila is hoping Kiva lenders will help her daughter pay for this year's university fee so she will be able to continue her studies.
