Pacifique is a Burundian entrepreneur who runs a pharmacy in the eastern province of Rwanda. The pharmacy has been a huge help to refugees because she supplies medicine to the camp at a low cost. With her experience in pharmaceuticals and dispensary management, the pharmacy has been doing well and has provided her with of all her basic needs.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has made the pharmacy work harder than before. It has been one of the pharmacies that provides supplies to different hospitals in the province. She was able to increase her inventory with the last Kiva loan but she constantly runs out of stock due to the high demand for supplies like face masks, sanitizers, and antibiotics.

A loan to Pacifique will help her increase inventory but also step up to help her community to fight the spread of COVID-19.
