Marlene from Rwanda
$13500 to purchase more inventory for her shop.
Marlene is a visionary entrepreneur who works in Kigali, Rwanda. A wife and a mother of one, Marlene is a refugee who came to Rwanda in 2015 due to political instabilities back home in Burundi. Marlene came to Rwanda and got married to a Rwandan. She and her husband were able to start a spare parts shop to help them provide for their child and live a comfortable life.
The business started really small but with time Marlene was able to secure big tenders, including the government initiatives and many more. Marlene decided to attend Inkomoko/AEC training to equip herself with more knowledge on how to run the business successfully. She was very pleased to learn about bookkeeping because it helps her to know the status of her business.
Marlene is requesting a loan to purchase more inventory for her shop so that she can satisfy the increasing market for her products. She recently secured a contract to supply her products but ran out of stock. A loan would help her purchase more and hence keep a good reputation with her clients.
