Phionah is a female Ugandan aged 22 years. She is from Nyakarongo, Kagadi district. She is single and does not have any children yet. She is a very hardworking and committed farmer growing mostly maize, sugar cane and coffee as cash crops.

Commercial farming has fostered the general well-being of the her family and enabled her to lead a reasonably good life including educating herself and also starting up a retail shop business. She is a first time borrower with UGAFODE and has taken a credit facility of 3,000,000 UGX to use as working capital for her business for specifically buying farm inputs like fertilizers, mulching materials, herbicides and wages for workers. She is always faced with a challenge of unpredictable weather like drought, hailstorms and too much rain which is quite detrimental to her business. Thank you funders.
