Sra. Petrona is the new leader of the Communal Bank “Flores Cauquenses”. She manages a tortilla shop, which is situated outside of her house. Petrona sells three times a day, but she also engages in agriculture. She plants green beans and peas. Petrona is very hardworking woman.

The previous leader was not able to continue, so Petrona assumed leadership of the group and plans to do the best job possible. She works hard along with her husband so that their children can get ahead. Petrona currently has children who are in primary school. She says that her greatest wish is to see her children graduate, so she works very hard to provide them a good education in hopes that they make something out of their lives. Petrona is grateful to God for the support FAPE and Kiva have provided.
