As a 48-year-old woman, Chann is living with her beloved family in Takeo province. She is a married mother of four children, two of whom are still in school and the other two are too young. She has been growing rice as the main source of income for 20 years and her husband is fishing to earn additional income. She could not get good yield from her farming because of insects destroying it. She has already borrowed twice from VisionFund and has paid her past loans successfully and her family‘s condition is better now than before.

Due to shorting of working capital now Chann is requesting for this new loan via VisionFund (Kiva’s partner) to buy a decent boat to support her fishing business.
