Thanks for your interest in DownloadHelper. This problem clearly exists with this router, but i don't have any clue about why this happens. If you use the Firebug extension, is there any chance an error is reported that could help ? Thanks for this. Can you confirm if you disable DownloadHelper, you don't see the 'Permission denied' message ? Could you send me the file you get from http://192.168.0.1/xml_data.js ?
