Smart naming
The Smart Naming feature allows meaningful names to be applied to downloaded media by searching at a given location in the page holding the media.
Enable Smart Naming
If for some reasons you don't want to have this feature, you can disable it.
Type
The feature works for media titles, and also for their description. This menu list allows determines what type of entries
are shown in the table below.
Entry table
The table displays the domain for each entry. If an entry does not give good results at guessing the media title or description,
select the corresponding domain in the list. A Remove button appears, click on it to delete the entry.
Import button
Imports the latest database version. If you have defined your own, different, setup for some sites, you will be prompted
for overriding the conflicting entries.
Keep spaces in file names
If unchecked, blank characters in the name will be replaced with underscores.
Keep non-ascii characters in file names
If unchecked, non-ascii characters, like é, will be replaced with underscores.
Anonymously share smart naming statistics
If checked, the extension will send periodically statistics on Smart Naming featuer usage, in particular number of successes/failures
for each entry. This is used to generate and maintain automatically the database holding the known entries. Note that the sharing is completely anonymous and
is used only for the purpose of maintaining the shared database.
