Mrs Thu is 53 years old, she is married, and she has two children. She has worked in agriculture, farming food for more than 10 years. Thu lives in Hoang Hoa district, a rural town in Thanh Hoa province. Her family is a low-income household in village; moreover this region often suffers from natural disasters such as storms because it is near the sea.
One of the most critical difficulties that concerns her, is not having a latrine. But her income is not enough to build a new one. She is requesting a loan to purchase sand, cement, brick, and equipment to build a toilet.
This is Thu's first loan with Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution. Thu hopes for her family to be healthy and happy and for her children to find good jobs.
