DownloadHelper is a way to discover many sites showing Web videos from all around the world. They are here !
DownloadHelper is also a free Firefox extension for downloading videos and images from many sites with minimum effort. Install the extension !

Using DownloadHelper, you can easily save videos from most of the popular video sites. (Check here for lists of supported sites).

It is also possible to capture all the images from a galery in a single operation.

Note that DownloadHelper does not break any real protection implemented on the sites. It just give an easier access to clear content that will be downloaded by your browser anyway. Unless exceptions, downloaded videos must be kept on your disk for personal use and not shown on other Web sites.

    I've tried many addons and sites to download video. This is the easiest one to use. It saves the file with the correct name and once you tell it where to download, it always puts it right there. It works great in the background too if you have a lot to download.

    I like DownloadHelper best of the download extensions I've tried. The little animation is helpful in letting me know I can download videos, before I even click on it. I haven't had any problems with it so far, and I've been using it for roughly a month or so. I love that there are so many sites you can use it on. You can play the videos on a number of free FLV players.
